Quality Control

Our raw sand deposit is of high grade but we still adhere to strict QC/QA procedure. Our quality control starts from mining areas where selective mining is carefully planned and executed in order to govern consistent raw feed.

Mining plan is made in reference to bore log results obtained from exploration. However, prior to the actual mining activities on a designated area, more drilling at a closer grid is conducted to confirm any variance.

In addition, samples at each stage of the production on the determination of particle size distribution (PSD) and chemical composition form part of daily production routine.

Treatment Technique

Sebangun is being blessed with huge deposit of high grade crude silica sand, whereby state of the art processing technique plan, standard sieving and quality separation methods are employed to process the crude sand into high quality glass sand.
